Donggang, The Siege

For me, taking photos is by now often not a welcome activity when going somewhere but a prime motivation. As I usually live very much in the now, it helps to steer my mind towards a specific situation – and thus to structure the trip. Visiting the Donggang Welcomes the Kings Peace Ceremony 東港迎王平安祭典 in 2024, I realized that I am certainly not the only one approaching an event like that.
